The little thing is three and a half by three and a half by three and a half centimeter. It fits in the palm of my hand. A toy like a stress ball, but in the shape of a cube. There is a lens on the front and on top, concealed in its housing, a shutter button the size of a quarter. I aim the box from the hip, in the hollow of my hand, at an image that my eyes see and my hand directs. At home I will know how this collaboration has been translated into a picture of reality. When I visit London this is my private eye. London by Cube.

The Polaroid Cube is a cube-shaped action camera in a rubber housing. It has a “one-button” operation design and a 124-degree wide-angle lens. It takes photos and video and stores them on a micro SD card. Bigger isn’t always better.
